Glistening Wasteland

Glistening Wasteland is the first of a three part series shot on a blistering Summer day in November. Set before the rocky backdrop of an abandoned quarry, models Tamika and Lilly appear as beautiful, foreign objects among the dust and sprigs of dry grass.

With makeup and styling by Alison Swanston, gowns by Couture Love Madness and hair by Sass, this shoot juxtaposes the harsh sun on rock and rubble with delicate beaded fabrics, vintage finger waves and the glamour of couture.
